Intimate Ranch Wedding in Utah

There is just something beautiful and peaceful about an intimate wedding at a ranch. There is amazing views, birds chirping and cows mooing, It is charming and unforgettable. If you are planning a ranch or farm style wedding check out one of my favorite articles “14 Ways to Host an Elegant Farm Wedding”.

Hannah and Justin were such a joy to be around. Hannah has the most warm and outgoing personality while Justin was very sweet and caring. It was amazing to be able to capture their love story and getting to know them through having 3 sessions with them (their engagements, A first look and formals and then the wedding day). By sending this much time together before the wedding day it really made the wedding day feel very natural working together.

Their first look was the type that makes you want to cry. They opted to read each-other (what I call) pre-vows. They included what they were most looking forward to with the wedding day coming up, how they were feeling in the moment and their love for each-other. After they read their pre-vows they did their first look, it was very special for Hannah because she had never even seen Justin in a suit before.

The venue, Warrior Rizen Ranch, was very special to the couple because they spend time at the ranch every month volunteering. The workers and owners of the ranch were very close to the couple and had seen Hannah and Justin through their dating journey grow to where they are now.

Words from the Bride

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?: My favorite part was writing my vows with Justin in front of the alter. We read all of Ephesians 1 about marriage and the sacred vows you take with god and your husband. We then wrote our vows and that was the most spiritual and special moment in our wedding.

What was your favorite part about your photo experience with me?: Hayley, you made every photo special. You made us feel so comfortable. You went above and beyond. You seriously made me a bouquet on our way to the shoot! Who else but you would do that! The only thing better than your service were the photos that I know we will treasure for a lifetime.

What is some advice to future couples planning their wedding?: Make a list of things you “have to have”. Things that you fee you need to have at your wedding and then be okay with other things not going to plan.

What memory from your wedding do you remember the most strongly? What part of the day had the most effect on you or your relationship?: It was the time we spent with god that day. We took communion as the first act as a married couple and that was so special. We prayed together and we could just feel god with us.

What was the funniest moment of your day?: When my shoes broke, and then my back up shoes also broke!!
