Cascade Montana Wedding | Maddie and Gavin

Getting to know both Maddie and Gavin over the course of a year in prepping for their wedding and taking their engagements was so wonderful. They are two of the sweetest people that I have been able to be apart of their day. They shared with me so many insights into why they decided on certain aspects of their wedding and truly they put so much intention into their day.

The wedding took place on Maddie’s grandparents property, a place where she grew up spending lots of time with her family and even spent a few summers there with her sisters. Over the years that they have dated Gavin also grew to love the beautiful Montana land. They told me that they spend many trips, hours and the whole weep before the wedding prepping the land and doing lots of landscaping and really poured their everything into making it the most beautiful wedding.

For the wedding day they hired the most wonderful team of vendors so that way they did not have to lift a finger and that way they could be fully present to enjoy their day and celebrate this day fully.

One of my favorite parts about the night was the toasts that were shared. Each one was so heartfelt and so personal that there were tears all around and was the most beautiful feeling heading into the first dances.

My favorite part to photograph was at sunset Gavin and Maddie snuck off the dance floor and we ran around the field taking a few pictures before they headed back to dance and it was the most fun, energetic and honestly most romantic. I loved getting to document their day and tell their story through the photos and video captured and it really was such an honor to be apart of their day.
