Millcreek Inn in Salt Lake City Utah | Nathan and Ashan

The amount of people, both family and friends that flew in from around the world to support these two was astounding. They were absolutely spoiled with love and the most energetic and excited feelings.

The day started out with the most beautiful drive through Salt Lake City and then into Millcreek Canyon, driving through the trees and hearing rushing water and birds and then arriving at the venue. The venue was set back in the trees and was so serene.

After Nate and his kids started getting the venue ready then some of their immediate family started showing up to help set up. After setting up all of the guest started arriving and were greeted with a post card guest sign in with artwork inspired by Japanese architecture and a nod to Nate and Ashan’s love for Japanese culture (and where they spent their honeymoon at).

One of their closest friends officiated the wedding and said some of the sweetest and very meaningful words for them. After the ceremony there was a little bit of rain but we were all able to go into the venues sun room and then by the time dinner was ready we were back under the trees with all of the lights on above us. Nate and Ashan were able to get drinks and mingle with everyone in the most sweet and intimate way. Even though it was a larger group the setting and timeline felt perfect and not rushed or crazy at all. Towards the end of the night they had toasts at sunset and then cake and dancing the rest of the night.

It was so special getting to be apart of their day and watching them create such great memories. And on another note I do not have better words to say about Millcreek Inn and their staff. They handled everything, were so kind and great to work with and the food and cake was all amazing as well as the drinks. Overall one of my favorite wedding venues in the Salt Lake Area in Utah.
