Riverside Outdoor Wedding in Eden Utah | Lauren and Jake

The best way that I can describe Lauren and Jakes day is by first describing the people in their life and all of the love that was poured into the day.

To start off, the venue was actually family property of Laurens. The year before their wedding Lauren, Jake and Lauren’s parents started visiting the property near Pineview Reservior to make plans for the wedding and scattering wildflower seeds. Over the next months Lauren’s parents prepared the land and got the most beautiful vision that Lauren and Jake had getting married down by the river a reality.

Then comes the flowers. The literal truckloads of flowers were made by Lauren’s sweet aunt who came in from out of town. She goes by Brikade Design and has beautiful work and came up with making the sweetest flower baskets for the bridesmaids.

Now the cake and dessert table. Talk about amazing. Jake’s mom Shauna is the owner of Sweet and Posy which is a bakery based in Orange County California. Everything was so stunning! She put in a week’s worth of baking and months of making all of the edible flowers that were on their cake. The attention to detail was amazing and all of the sweets and desserts were so good!

There were countless other family members and loved ones who poured so much love and care into making their wedding so special, as well as their vendor team that made is all so special.

Lauren and Jakes day started off in a house they rented for their whole bridal party to get ready in. There was puzzles, coffee and bagels and just the most chill vibes while everyone got ready. Then Lauren and Jake did private vows before we headed off in two limos to the property. They had a very sweet ceremony with the sound of the water behind them and then lead into their reception.

The weather ended up being perfect with shade under the tent even though they had some worries of rain that week. There was food, drinks, dancing, games and audio and photo guest book that was all so much fun for all the guests. At the end of the night after a long night of dancing Lauren and Jake exited the venue with floral confetti in the cutest exit ever.

I love the pace of the day that Lauren and Jake had and the fact that they were able to have a full day with the people they love and tender moments at the house while they got ready. It was such an amazing day and I am so happy I was able to be apart of their sweet day.
